We choose to carry out our business at ITE clementi west .The reason we will do it in school because many students in ITE clementi west do not know the interesting side of boardgames.Yet Boardgames is also a kind of 'equiment' to help to bounding among friends & teachers as well as get to know each other more though it.Our company will highly recommend room B2/202&203 either one for our business to set up.It was because these 2 room is install with air-conditioner,tables&chair size is just what we required for as well as a prorector for us to set up our system. We have also find out that it cost use $80 per half day to carry out our buisness in that room.

Our product will be based on T-shirt. As we all know, T-shirt fashion are great protection from the sun and is useful for all wears, but the main reason is being fashion. T-shirt is usually button-less, collar-less, and pockets-less, with a round neck and short sleeves. T-shirt has wide varieties, but our company will be focusing on T-shirt that was ready made and T-shirt for customization. T-shirt is usually button-less, collar-less, and pocket-less, with a round neck and short sleeves

First of all, T-shirt that was ready made will be. . .

Undershirts, it is meant to be in 50% polyester 50% cotton material and used for wearing on the inside and another shirt or blazer over it.

Short Sleeves T-Shirt, material will also be cotton and it is meant to be for wearing comfort in a climate like Singapore which is hot.

Long Sleeves T-Shirt, material will be cotton and it is meant for comfort in wearing due to its material and it helps prevents cold, suitable for cold, rainy days in Singapore.

Sleeveless T-shirt, material will be polyester and it is for hot climate and it can be used as sports outfit

Cardigan, material will be acrylic, cotton and it seems to be popular among youths nowadays and it will be hot-seller among our target market.


Secondly, T-shirt for customization. . .
Undershirts, material will be 50% cotton and 50% polyester. Undershirt is normally worn on the inside with a blazer or a jacket to wear over. Customers are allowed to customize it on the front of the T-shirt where the design will be able to display.

Short Sleeves T-Shirt, material will also be cotton and this type of T-shirt is common and likely to be seen often. Despite of that, we are allowing customers to add on designs unto it and make it looks unique according to their preference. Of course they can have the ready made with design on it.

Long Sleeves T-Shirt, material will be cotton and this type of T-shirt are considered the least in which people would want to customize on it but nevertheless, we are still going to provide the service.

Sleeveless T-shirt, material will be polyester. Sleeveless T-shirt can be used as a form of sports outfit, which is why we allowed customization on it as it will looks good and certainly it looks unique.

Design
Our product’s design will be based on horoscopes, animals, meaningful wordings, eye catching wordings and etc. We choose to based our design on these is because that youths nowadays will buy things that matches their horoscope, and people surely like animals, and there are also a wide range of animals designed for them to choose for. Also meaningful wordings can be interesting and it may spread the message around to people, just by wearing it and go for shopping. Eye catching wordings may not look nice or sound nice but still it meet the purpose of catching people’s attention. Our product is designed to catch attention of people and improve product performance. Lastly, this would give us a strong advantage over our competitors.


Quality
Our product’s quality are guaranteed and also the overall of our product in terms of durability, reliability are better than our competitors as our product though are produce in Singapore, but our material for producing are imports from countries like Australian, New Zealand and etc. Though its imports were expensive and were from well-known country for its material for T-shirt, it will not affect our pricing made. We also got professionals to do the quality-check on the imports before manufacturing our product.

Features
Our product’s features will be that it is available for customization and that our product was of higher quality as compared to normal T-shirts the other printing company offered. We also have a many type of T-shirt that we allowed for customization and price is cheaper whereas our competitors does not have it yet.

Branding
Our product will have a brand that is based on horoscopes design or symbol. It allows our company to be easily distinguishes from our competitors and customers will be easier to identify and recognize our product.
Packaging
We will have our own design packaging like a paper bag rather than plastic bag. As paper bag is recyclable and biodegradable compared to plastic bag. Also our paper bag will be durable for customers to carry the T-shirt. This paper bag concept is also to spread the message of less usage of plastic bag and be more environmental friendly.

Price
In order to set the right pricing, we have consider certain objectives to make sure that our company will benefits, objectives such as, survival, product quality leadership, current profit maximization and etc.
In terms of survival, our company set a bottom line for our pricing for our product will be $12 and also to make sure we will earn yet set a price which the customer feel satisfy, we set the highest pricing for our product also, which is $25. Which is to say, our profit earning from selling one T-shirt, we gain a profit of $2 - $15.
Undershirts are priced $12- $15, it is such high price due to its good quality and uniqueness; because it is our first type of undershirt and we are the only seller.
Short-Sleeves T-shirts are priced at a standard price of $16. It is because this is the main selling point of our product and it is the most common product which customer would demand.
Long-Sleeves T-shirts are priced $18-$20. It is considered to be a difficult product to sell off at this price due to the hot climate in Singapore, but as to conquer that problem, we made special demand to our supplier to make the material thinner as to fit Singapore’s climate therefore, price will be slightly higher, which will be from $20-$25.
Sleeveless T-shirts are priced $14-$16. It is made to the point that we are creating this product into more towards a sports wear. So it will be a hot selling product.
Cardigans are priced at only $20. It is going to be fixed and this is the limited selling product, a season’s product, available only from our company.





Promotion
Promotion is one very important concept our company need to apply. As it will be our most important factor to get in contact with our market.
Our Promotion Package:
Limited Cardigan with horoscope T-shirt
5% discount for every 3 T-shirt purchase and 10% for every 5. (Only on specific DAY)
20% discount for the 100th , 150th , 200th customer.

We choose vivo city shopping mall as our location because it is one of the biggest mall in local.We carry out obsevarsion and found out weekend will flood with people.This is the reason why we set up our company there due to the crowd.So we took some picture of areas that we can set up our booth .The reason that we choose the following area because it is not too big and it is near elculator.As it is easlier to be identify by our customer if they want to get back to us.Another reason for us to locate of company at vivo city is that the ways to get there is very convinence for our customers.The following pictures below is places that we will like to carry out our business:

Promotion
In order to target the right market, we will be going to schools and campuses to advertise on our product and also to bring it to public through word of mouth and the quality and design of our products.
Flyers and posters will be a tool which we will use at schools and campuses. We will also offer a discount for every new customer who was re-directed from previous customers.
TV advertising- we will get known celebrities or a short film of our product being wore by some hulks and pretty babes.
1 minute cost us $2000. This advertising method will only be used if our previous advertising method causes stagnant stage.

We will also allow the customer to test wear our product. If they like it, we will give them a discount. Building support for our product is what we will be doing for the first 3 months. But in order to remain fresh in ideas, we will be having new designs every 3 months. We also will come out with special promotion to keep up to the expectation of our customers who likes new promotions. Sampling is the only usable technique which we will use for the first 3 months.
We will also launch a new type of promotion if our business expands. The type of promotion is called personal selling. Our company will support those that work for us to earn their commission. This promotion will work through secondary schools and tertiary campuses but it will not be launch in the first 3 months because we do not have enough capital to support it or salvage our business if it fails.

Competitors (service)

Our competitors are mainly these 3 companies; Stitch N Print, EpicHouse, Createe. These 3 companies are our top rival in Singapore. They do have the type of services we provide which is the customization and personalization which can proved to be competitive and having not much advantage over them.
Company like Stitch N Print is a big company and has a good reputation for printing. Stitch N Print served her first badge of customers in the mid 2001 at well-known Army Market. Stitch N Print is specialized in Embroidery, Silkscreen Printing, Dye-Sub Printing, Heat transfer printing. Stitch N Print also invested in fully computerized multi-head embroidery, heat transfer and Dye-Sub printing machines, in order to provide more efficient service to its customers. Stitch N Print process through 3 core values, cheap, fast & good.
EpicHouse is a specialized company in T-shirt printing. It has a good reputation among secondary and tertiary schools. It also does have a group of loyal customers which were from secondary and tertiary schools. EpicHouse proves to be a tough competitor for us as it does provide service like personalization and customization which proves to be our hot selling point for our services. EpicHouse is a company which do not charge GST, design and delivery.
Createe is a T-shirt printing and design company which catered to educational institute and business sector in Singapore. Createe targets more in the corporate companies which is different from our target market BUT Createe is a big company compared to Stitch N Print and EpicHouse. Createe strives to satisfy customers by delivering the best print, design and services to their client regardless of sales value. Createe also believes that closing a sale is not the end but a genesis towards a new working relationship. This shows that Createe is focused on retaining their customer and building up a higher reputation among corporate companies.

Competitors (product)

These following companies will be the top 2 and the toughest competitors for our product:

Giordano, it is one of the top 3 competitors listed due to its reputation in the market and its known quality in terms of product. Giordano is also known to be good in the bringing forth of fashionable designer clothing, also its season’s wears. Giordano’s product has a limited time frame because of the ever changing of their season’s production. Therefore, their clothing can be noted as ‘limited edition’. Giordano’s product is quality and its pricing is reasonable. Their pricing starts from lowest $10.90 to highest $29.90. They do sell certain product in which our company does not, which are jeans and pants. Giordano is a big company and is always ahead of other retail stores like, hang ten, which is THEIR biggest rival and also 1 of the 2 of our competitors. Giordano will prove to be our biggest rival when it comes to reasonable pricing for high quality tee shirt and unique features and designs.

Hang Ten, is a product wear originally targeted for only surfers but since the overwhelming acceptance of the market, it is then bring into the retail or the fashion market for mass, not just the surfers. In Singapore, hang ten is also popular among teens, youths and adults. It has quite a good population in its cheap pricing and up to mark quality. Hang Ten, unlike Giordano, its product is greatly mass produced and does not really produce on accordance of season and they does not really have good design but unique design such as the ten toes which can be normally seen on the tee shirt. Hang Ten should prove to be our biggest rival in terms of pricing and mass production.

Service

Besides having our own product, providing service is also important. The service that we provide is something which the market already has but yet we are still going to provide it, due to the lack of quality in terms of printing and also the type of tee shirt used for it. Therefore, we are still going to provide such service because we believe that the lack of quality will be able to amend since we get it done with much effort to ensure the quality.

What we will be servicing will be tee shirt’s designs printing, stitching, embroidery and coloring. We are also able to help customer with their design brought to us and give some advice of the design’s effect of the end product. Delivery will also be part of our service if the customer request.

Place

In terms of distribution location, there is quite a few of places. First of all, we decided to bring our product and service into shopping mall, Vivo City in particular. The reason why we choose Vivo City is due to the popularity among locals and also one of the tourist attractions in Singapore. In place like Vivo City, we focus more on our product rather than service. Nevertheless, this location is chosen to be part of advertising our printing service and we believe that the word of mouth will greatly boost our known service to the mass.
Since we talk about product, we also do need to focus on our service. In order to make sure our service is being focused, our company will be entering into campuses to focus target the market which has the most potential of having our service, students. Reasons why we choose schools and campuses is because students nowadays do like to make class tee shirt, CCA tee shirt and others which to make known of their identity. We do provide printing service for the school to produce PE tee shirt.







Price (Product)

Price (Service)

In this category, the price will be totally different as of the above pricing for product.
Our basic cost for a piece of tee shirt is $7. These tee shirts will be plain and only these few basics color as stated below.
White - $7, Black - $7, Red - $7, Blue - $7, Yellow - $7
Any other colors will be charges an additional of $1. These colors are not those in designs for printing but just the color of the tee shirt.
Designs for printing will be charged at a minimum of $2-$5. Charges will be depending on the complexity of design and the difficulty for printing.
Stitches and embroidery will also be charged from $2-$5. Charges will be depending on the complexity of design and the difficulty for printing.
Polo tee and Crew neck tee will be charged higher in terms of designs, stitches and embroidery, and coloring. The charges will be a dollar higher than normal tee shirt.

Target Market
There will be two category of target market for which to meet our product and service.
Our product will be targeting people like teenagers, young adults of both gender and mainly will be the Chinese, age range from 14-21. Based on the observation research held on our field trip to Vivo City, people of this particular age group wear clothing which seems less special or unique, in terms of design, also most of their wearing are considered to be mix and match. Our product does have special and/or unique designs and can be easily mix and match due to the professional advising to mix and match of our product by our staffs. Our staffs will also be able to advice them some easy color matching for clothing and different types of mix and match, even if the customer does not buy our product. No fee will be charged for all the advice given.
Our service will be targeting market which is considered to be either studying in school/campus, CCA participants or maybe teachers. This is to ensure we maximize the potential of our service by making our service known throughout the market and also to build in rapport. Building up a relationship among the schools and students, we will be able to gain a long-term credibility and customer. Our service is better at producing mass for which it will not be as expensive as just printing a couple of tee shirt only. Due to some observation on our travel around Singapore, we realize that certain small and medium enterprise does need to produce own unique uniforms or working tee by printing service BUT they do need to ensure the quality of the tee shirt and the printing services. Therefore, we do reach out and service these companies, so long as they are our customers.

These materials are soft and smooth, which is comfortable for wearing. It is targeted due to the local climate of Singapore.

These designs allow the product to be quickly produced and also look good for wearing. The end production of our product is definitely good in looking and comfortable in wearing. These two points are what we targeted for.
